Shocked about John Inman, remembered this post I made, RIP.

I never watched Are You Being Served, just like Zenon probably, I hope I'm not turning into him. :oops:

Are You Being Served was not great by any standards, though it may have been at the time. It didn't age well in my opinion.

That wasn't great either; it was OK but both Kathy Burke and James Dreyfus has done better (though as I think someone said on here before, James Dreyfus always seems to play the same kind of role.)

My point was it wasn't that great but the comparison was that Are you being Served? had lots of sexual innuendo but then Gimme Gimme Gimme was just pathetically explicit.

In comedy at least. Didn't he start doing drama after Gimme Gimme Gimme and The Thin Blue Line both finished?
