Question for the boffins that be:

We need to send the name of the venue we want to visit, followed by the answer followed by my name and text it all to 82125.

Hypothetically:

Say the answer was "D - Italy"
and the venue I wanted to go to was "Edinburgh".

I would text:

"Edinburgh D Foot-Loose"?

What if I typed:

"Edinburgh, D - Italy, Foot-Loose"

Do the computers still pick that up with commas etc?

Smart money is on sending it in to 81199 for a giggle, plus, evidence shows you actually get a mention that way. My avatar is a clue about which venue I wanna go to, because on Sunday it'll be 2 days after my birthday and I wanna make a weekend of it.

Why would you do that anyway? It's incorrect and takes more time. The answer would be it depends how they've set up the text system I guess.

When you send in for tickets you get an automatic response. The BBC has irritatingly decided to use txt spk in this response.

*edit*
Text the name of the Rallyoke venue you'd like to attend e.g. bournemouth plus your answer - a, b or c to 82125.

doesnt say anything about putting your name 8O

I would imagine that putting your name is only for on air reasons - maybe so they could read it out?

Putting your name on or not won't affect you winning tickets. Chris is of the opinion it hardly complicates things to put your name and there's more show content from having a name on a text. Technically it's the phone that wins the tickets and that's what the clubs need to give you your tickets for the nights.

So if you turn up on the night without your phone, you're buggered?!

? Yud Yud think, you text in, if you win your going to get a text back saying you can come with details that you need to bring the phone to prove it !
