I never actually noticed what Topher had posted.... but things always come out anyway.... he needs to follow viv's example, out there, happening!! Up-to-date with the programmes :lol:

He is in the same boat as me - the reason I never saw the second series is coz I missed the first episodes from the first series.

I know this is an old thread, but I've just got round to seeing the end of it and I agree it's brilliant, an absolutely cracking ending. Also there are numerous Wizard of Oz references, from playing Over the Rainbow to calling Tyler 'Dorothy' on serveral occasions.

For the record, my interpretation was that he woke from his coma and found he didn't relate to his 2006 life, so decided to throw himself off the building, hoping that it would take him back to 1973. Driving off is like a reference to an after-life or something.
