i think there is a slight similarity in the characther of jack sparrow and the real life individual of russell brand. but i feel that this is concidence. i dont think depp is anything like russell brand in real life, but then i have never met him.

actually for a Heat xmas special a couple years ago Brand dressed up as Jack sparrow. He looked strikingly similar to Depp in the role. Of course that says nothing about his acting ability...

I agree with Gaspode, he did seem uncomfortable with the wand I thought, and sometimes a little unsure of where to put his hands, other than that an enjoyable little show.

Funny Story, Last year I went to get a knew pair of glasses fitted, and the optician, while measuring them up, said that they made me look a bit like Johnny Depp, so I text my Girlfriend to tell her this, and to this day she takes the piss out of me, cause I don't, and she reckons the optician just wanted a piece of me...
