Would someone be so kind as to explain to me (In layman's terms) why there are always a few bots logged in as registered users?

Some search engines such as Google use 'bots' or 'spiders' to visit web pages and index them so that they show up in relevant results basically. It would have happened on the old board as well, but phpBB2 didn't recognise them as bots.

I want to see Nightmare. The HD graphics in that programme were so far ahead of their time.
