your problem is that you don't like black people's music.
When did I state that? I don't remember ever slating any black music genre. So I can't criticize music when it's sung by black people? you've got to realise that most, and I stress most, mainstream hip-hop and R'n'B is tired, lyrically devoid of any content and self-serving. What on earth can be gained musically about how many women so and so has, or how many fast cars whatshisface has.
your all into not good blink 182 and pudd of shi-t-e.
Again; when did I state that? I find Blink 182 juvenile, and Puddle of Mudd rather formulaic for my tastes.
Howz that weird? Its the Music of Black Origin, so it doesnt necessarily have to be urban-ish I guess.
It's the music of black
origin awards. Hence Daniel Bedingfield and Tim Westwood amongst others were up for an award because they are involved in black music. So just because a boy-band is all black does not qualify, as pop is not defined as a black genre.(Although I have to agree with Uglybob on this one).
The reasons I dislike Ms Dynamite are as follows:
1( She wins the Mercury Music prize; and she writes songs with lyrics such as: 'Macaroni, chicken, peas and pineapple punch'.
2( Apparently she takes a strong stance against violence and tries to put it through in her music; yet, she featured So Solid Crew's single that opens 'I'm going to have to resort to violence'. And of course So Solid Crew are not associated with violence at all.
3( Although this one is not her fault. She has been taken up by the patronising broadsheet media as this months 'let's have an article on her every day for a week' policy.
And maybe I was a bit harsh in saying she was talentless, as I did quite like her first song with Sticky.
And all that withstanding I wouldn't mind a dabble either...
