Why do people put 'Discuss' (or various wrong spellings of said word) at the end of the first post of a thread? I've seen this a lot lately and it just seems to be entirely superfluous; it's not like we wouldn't discuss whatever the subject was without this pointless 'reminder'.

first of all, proper excising in the middle of a quote is an ellipses (...).
secondly, sitcoms from abc are crap. i say this as an american who's grown up on them and avoids them like the plague. topher was right. then again, i can't say i trust the judgement of somebody who's trying to proselytize for juggling being cool, or kewl, or whatever.

I've seen them, i don't like them. They put good looking girls infront of a camera so they get the viewing and put aload of canned laughing on top of their crap acting to make out its funny.

I like abc1, as it has quite a few decent shows on there like 8 simple rules and less than perfect and scrubs, though i do prefer scrubs on e4 as it shows more of a variety!
