There is that.
I don't agree, I've not experienced that in London (though it is quite expensive.)
Does that mean full of curry?
I'm proud of my roots, I do like living here. It's dead easy to get around and as I said, easy to get to most other places. I suppose I'm one of the few true "locals", because what with it being a new "city", lots of people have moved here from elsewhere.
I've never called it "MK" as far as I know, though I know people who do. Most people just call it "the city" when referring to Central Milton Keynes though, and if referring to other parts, just say the name of the estate.
Again, I've never experienced that in Liverpool; I really like Liverpool as cities go.
....... the drive to Devon that I'll be doing a week on Thursday is a bit of a bitch.
But at least at the end of it you'll be in Devon, which, being the best place in the world, should make it all worth it.
There is that.
I can't stand London, too expensive, too hard to get around, too big, too busy, too dirty, too many rude people, too shy shy hush hush eye to eye.

I'm currious

Topher the Bopher, do you like living in Milton Keynes? Do you also insist on calling it MK like all the other locals seem to (in my experience)?

Place with the rudest people - its between Liverpool and Sheffield again.

Stuff about Thatcher....
You are a disgrace and I'm looking forward to when someone you respect dies so I can rub your liberal face in it.
