It has been SUCH a busy term, but luckily for me I break up from school for two weeks on Friday!!!

I've had so much stuff to deal with recently, what with school subjects, other committments at school, both jobs, plus all the regular stuff such as friends, etc, etc.

Now I can take a break from that cos I'm going to one of the Greek Islands (Zante to be exact!) for a week, and luckily for me, Mum's said I can take a friend, so my extremely good mate Jo(anna) is gonna come with me!!

I'm REALLY looking forward to it! :D:D

Two week October break from school - we don't get Half Terms in Scotland

we get our holidays a week on thursday - we are mad, we are going on the boat for 12 hours each way just so we can go to aberdeen for the day!

Oooh it is, lol! I would love to be going to Aberdeen sooner rather than later. I mean, you can go to the cinema, bowling alley, pizza hut, mcdonalds, burger king....I need to get off this sad, cold island now. Its the most depressing lousy windy weather and its freezing, help!

Not having half term is more sensible - you don't have them at uni either, you just have longer holidays. Half term is * pointless after all...

We're not staying in a hotel, but studio apartments somewhere. No suer where though

make sure you go to the market in the centre sometime cause you can haggle for loads of cheap crap there. when we went there was some guy selling tiny little terrapins on a stall. they were about the size of an old 50p. strange goings on. and theres loads of stands selling this wierd yellow food that they cook in front of you and has wasps crawling all over it. didnt try it and im glad. hope you have a good time

I'm kinda familiar with the way the Greeks work - we've been to a few different islands (err....Rhodes, Samos & Corfu are the only ones I can remember) and It's quite funny the way you can haggle things down to sometimes less than a half of the original price .
