Hmm, an interesting example; I read Yudster's post as saying foot-loose was a 'legend' (I presumed that space was a typo), and so thought, through the empirical evidence, that Yudster believed foot-loose was a legend. That observation did not fit the facts though which shows that empirical evidence should never be relied on.

All this shows is that empirical evidence CAN be relied on - what can't be relied on is your interpretation of what is presented or indeed in some cases (although not this one) the observation of the individual making the assertion. Foot is a leg end. If you choose to read that as "foot-loose is a legend", well, you may be employing more imagination than is good for you Console!

Sorry Foots, but a compliment from Console, even if it had actually happened in reality, rather than being taken out of context, is not really something to be particularly proud of. Well only if you want to join the Superior, Picky,Retentive, Argumentative, Condescending, Crew (Toph also a member) or the SPARC Crew as I like to think of them.

God damn it. Why do people keep pissing all over my comebacks to Topher?!

(boboff - i know i'm taking it out of context - thats kinda why I keep repeating it. Console isn't exactly known for passing out the compliments)
