Possibly, but wasn't she in the chat room at the time that it was going on? I don't credit her with the intelligence to know how to get into the chat room under two different usernames at the same time. Unless she got a friend to do it. That's assuming she has friends, though, which is possibly less likely than the first scenario.

When you're on the main home page to the site you can see "who's in the chat room". Is there any chance of getting this list transfered to the forum main page? Therefore peeople could see which peeps are in the chat room without having to navigate back to the home page.

This was asked before, Mr Bawbag, and was pretty much dismissed as "too much hassle".

Console wrote a scripty programmey thing which you could download, but I think that caused some problems as well.

Basically, stop being lazy.

It's complicated because lots of what you see throughout the site is actually generated and cached to reduce server load so allowing the servers to cope with more visitors. It's therefore difficult to include dynamically changing bits but not impossible. I'll add it to the list of things-to-do-when-I-get-time.

Console worked some magic last night so that if you now view the Who's Online page you'll find the new forum location 'Chatting' will appear for those people in the chat room.

This good enough for you?

Although it doesn't work for those of us who don't appear online - I believe bawbag is one of these fellows.

Yeh and i tried to change mine to show i'm online but it hasn't worked.

I presume that it updates your session information to show you in the chat room, but when you refresh the "who's online" page, that does the same (except shows you viewing who's online); and since the last action you did when viewing who's online is refresh that page, you will more than likely be shown as "viewing who is online".
