its been out a couple of weeks so someone may aswell mention it.

it isn't a great improvement on v1.6 really. the participation level sucks, i started out at '100', and since then ive downloaded about 20 files and ive gone down to '55'.

the best thing is the skin ability, its not to hard to make a new one so there may soon be a mw one.

any comments?

Since PC world has knackered my pc and I haven't got round to sorting it yet, I haven't downloaded anything. When it does get fixed would you say it's worth getting or not?

There isn't anything really new about it that makes it different from any of the others, but you may as well just have the latest version anyway.

Every new version of Kazaa has more security, or so they say, so it's best to get the latest versions when they're available!

You are best avoiding Kazza and use Kazza Lite. Kazza is laden with spyware.

Yeah apart from the fact that using Kazaa Lite there's no tracking software on your computer that's constantly monitoring you and sending information back to the servers! Only a small difference though really I suppose!

Same here Sam, I use WinMX, I know what Kazaa is, never used it, recommended or better off sticking to WinMX?

well some people complain about kazaa - i've never had any problems, it has everything I want. I dont like WinMX, cant stand it.

If you are going to get Kazaa, make sure you get Kazaa Lite.

winmx is fab, except for the slight problem i had with it when it completely deleted everything i'd ever downloaded. all my songs gone in a poof of smoke.
