I passed on my second attempt. The first one i got 3 minors and one major, for cutting up two cars pulling away from the test centre....genius!!

Getting an automatic is the worst thing you can do until you can drive a manual car. Otherwise, people end up unable to drive manual cars - two of my friends haven't driven a normal car since they were sitting their tests.

Driving a manual car is not difficult. Granted, it takes a bit of getting used to, but I don't see that as an excuse for not learning.
