Actually that Barbie's hair is slightly more orangey than mine, but it's very similar.

Once I was sat at the box office counter and noticed a woman with a small girl stood in the foyer just looking at me. eventually the woman came over and said "my daughter can't stop staring at you, she thinks you're the Little Mermaid."

I thought that was kinda cool.

Also, I go for darker hair.

As do I, although - and I don't know if it's slightly oedipal in nature, but - I usually go for red heads.

I'm quite partial to a Red Head too, although Mrs Zoot is Blonde. She has dyed it red before now though.

Mine is only red a bit at the side (right-hand).... cos I had spotted some grey hairs! I had bleached it first of all, then dyed it... it went pink, then I got it fixed at the mop shop.

I just spotted a silver root peeking thru earlier today actually. Goodness knows how much I would have if I didn't dye it. Ugh.

Yep, when I bleach my hair blonde before dyeing it I look awful - washed out and just weird. I had black hair for about 4 years too, and looking at pics now I think I look really pale, like a ghost. I still like to be pale but I do think the red suits me much better, and of course I do get plenty of attention, altho not always positive!

Do you know what a hairdresser told me? - well, when you dye your hair, you actually have to change all your choices in clothes, because they won't match any longer...

It is true that I rarely wear red cos I think with my hair it'll be too much. Once I recall I tried on a purple dress with a gorgeous paisley pattern and I stepped out of the changing room and my mother just said "well, it clashes with your hair." I didn't buy it. It's true with makeup too, but I think rules are made to be broken. I often wear a stripe of red eyeshadow and I think that looks great.

i always obsessed with coordinating my outfits with my hair when it was blue or green. it's a pain. one of my friends used to have blue highlights and only wear black and blue, then she swtched to red and only wore back and red. it was like her whole world changed.

If you have a smoothie maker/blender a home made narna milk shake does the world of good ;o)

My hair is easy, wash it, scrunch it with abit of gel, leave it. Sometimes if i can be arsed i will put it in heated curlers for the night for bigger more wow ringlets but i get small tight ringlets anyway and i've had a person tell me my hair is regal before.

I once dyed my hair black....looked okish I suppose....my hair is easy to sort. Wash, dry, leave house......Ah I love being a bloke.

Oh my other half has long dark brown shiny hair and she always get's complimented on it.

Doesn't all hair need washing every day? Surely it gets washed in the shower, even if you don't use shampoo every day (which I do.)

You shouldn't, you should wash your hair with shampoo 2/3 times a week.
