I've now listened again to the Zane interview and didn't think it was bad as Viv made out. In fact I thought it was quite funny, as was most of Thursday's show. I think it is live which is a bonus, as Zane will have probably had one too many brews! (Not sure what tunes will be played though)

Actually, it wasn't as bad as I had suspected it would be! I switched on a bit late whilst out for a walk (had been listening to local), and I discovered he was actually OK at Brekkie after all. Well done.

I loved it - I would rather have Zane covering Moyles' holidays than Mills anyday.

I didn't hear it, as I wasn't up in time, but it sounds worth a listen.

I was a bit disappointed to tune in later on to hear Judge Jules playing stuff he normally plays.. I thought it would be funny to hear him playing stuff off the playlist. But I guess none of the specialist DJs would have agreed to that.

Oh, and Daniel P. Carter was excellent on Zane's show.

That's what actually pleased me about the Jules. The fact that he didn't take stuff from the playlist, and it led on to a really refreshing afternoon of great dance stuff.

I don't like Judge Jules and I don't like what he plays.. although, even if I did, I think it'd be amusing to hear him playing playlisted tracks.

There's no way he'd waste the chance to showcase his stuff to people on playing playlist stuff, although it may be quite funny.
