Emma and Michael have told me they would like me to be God mother of Lydia but because my sister has got it in her head, with out even being asked, that she is going to be God mother Emma has said that we will just have to both be God mother but it takes away the specialness of it all really. There is a party going on next door. The music is shit and the guests are 15-18 year olds, who, in a small amount of time, will be very drunk and probably high 15-18 year olds. Basically, it's like having lots of Catherine's next door.

My stupid dog has yet to learn that the noctural black creatures with the white stripes down them are NOT cats and don't like being chased. She accosted a mother and 4 babies last night...The house still reeks and I've had to go spray her with some enzyme stuff. Now I get the joy of shampooing her outside and if she still smells, starting all over again. They're not cats. THEY'RE NOT CATS! You can't win!

I thought dogs had a keen sense of smell? Bloody hell!

Everyone is either on holiday or going on holiday in the next few days and I have nothing to look forward to. Also I'm still waiting to hear back for the jobs I've applied for.

My office has been much quieter the last couple of weeks with lots of folk off on holiday. Up here we're now two weeks into the school holidays. I think there's quite a few back next week. Meanwhile, I'm biding my time as I'm not off on holiday until September. Depressing at the moment watching everyone taking time off, but come September I'll be the one doing it, and when I get back its not long until the holidays at Christmas.
