Why do some people find it so difficult to differentiate the quote button from the edit button? It's not like they don't have their function in text on the image.

Well he may well do - but unless he plays or has played to at least local league standard, he's likely to fall in the category that holds most people, namely 'those who think they can play because they beat their mate / son / dog.

I may be wrong, he may be a good player.

Well OK, if we're being specific about things, he plays very well for someone who hasn't picked up a bat in 25 years as he is still able to beat me (and we all used to play an insane amount at school after hours).

I apologise for my misleading comment, as I did not think about the implications it held.

Haha, well it is a pet hate of mine.. I play in the local league and I'm certainly not brilliant but I do know my standard.. everyone thinks they can play and to a degree they can, but not usually to the extent they think they can.

Well it is really - but even the most careful of contributers can make a mistake, and then rather than have to double post to correct it, it would be nice to just be able to sort it out.

Better than videoconferences though. At least in a teleconference you can read the forum and chat in the chatroom without anyone being able to see you.

Annoying me today is my parents. They are constantly let down because of my grandad (who is quite old and doesn't speak English as a first language) but keep not expecting it. I can't say I've ever seen them happy but they keep saying that they are unhappy because of things happening in the near future. Surely life is mostly rubbish unless you actively try to make something out of it rather than just expect things to be good?

I don't have any valid opinion anyways because I am 'too young and haven't lived enough of real life'.
