Judging from the promo i heard on air earlier it would suggest that either just Chris or the team are coming from the US.. possibly LA this time.

Based on the live show they did a couple of weeks back (Newquay was it?), they should do a roadshow. Tis a bit late in the year to kick that off though I suppose.

I wasn't listening very much this morning when the ad came on, but I heard clips relating to China, America and India. That's quite far afield, but they did move the holiday up to facilitate preparation (and Dave's honeymoon), so it had to be big.

Well, I'm in Donegal, in the far north, so my reception (98.7) will be very different to the one in Wicklow, so I'm afraid I can't help. Radio iPlayer is completely available, though.

You wont be able to pick up R1 in Wicklow. The Northern Ireland border counties such as Donegal can pick it up as the broadcast spills over the border.
