I'd love to work there, but I can't help thinking it's a terribly unproductive workplace. It seems like they encourage people to muck about the whole time!

I think it would be very easy to get side tracked whilse working, also the rule of no one is 100m from food would cause my eating habits to change rapidly. If it was all free food which i guess it is that would make it even worse.

My job is in IT. Whenever something is broken and I'm not sure how to fix it, my first stop is Google.

Apparently the tour was notable for a couple of things.

1) They showed the Duke of Edinburgh Buckingham Palace on Google Earth. He asked to see the office he was standing in, but when they went to it the image was too old. All they could see was an empty patch of land!

2) They showed the Queen a youtube video of a baby laughing. It made her laugh, and she reportedly said "Lovely little thing isn't it. Amazing a child would laugh like that." What, does she not know children can laugh ridiculously?! Right enough, it's not like she raised her own kids.

Haven't seen it since I got back from the US, but the Cow & Gate advert along similar lines always brought a smile to my face.

In my opinion, babies are the greatest design known to man. Their laugh is so brilliant and infectious that you want to hear it over and over and over again. Their cry is so annoying that you just want to stop it as quickly as possible. You just want them to be laughing all the time and not crying at all - hence they get brought up right and so forth.

I'm not sure what's weirder. The fact I immediately thought it might be there, or the fact that it was.

No - I would have done the same. I would assume it was there and then be annoyed if it wasn't.

But as you say, that's probably just as odd as the fact it WAS there in the first place. It's a mad world we live in.
