I voted for DFS & Alexandra. Her voice very soon gets boring, and I felt a bit of a perv fancying her as she does this "ickle poor girl" routine, which is wrong.

Diana is one of the few contestants from this year's show that I have heard. I'm not a fan of X-Factor, but when it can present singers like Leona Lewis (dull material but phenomenal voice) I assume that the standard of entrants is high - so I was astonished to hear Diana's attempts to sing. I'm not interested in whether the material suited her or not, I was listening to the basic vocal structure and voice production, and gauging musicality based on her phrasing and rhythmic quality - and I can tell you, unequivocally, that girl can NOT sing. I'm assuming she is pretty - I can't imagine why else she'd have even got through the first stage.

I liked Diana. Couldn't vote cos I was at work - watched the repeat on sunday. I cannot believe JLS are in the final - they're dismal. Poor little Eggnog at the end, I thought he was gonna hyperventilate he was crying so much.

That last few minutes on Saturday was pure car crash telly. It was embarrassing. Tears here, tears there, confessions of love from a certain young Irish bloke (we all heard you Eoghan, you blubbed it into her microphone)... and yet the most composed person on the stage was probably the girl that had just been booted out!

I hope JLS win. It would be nice to see a band win the competition for a change. Eoghan's rubbish and Alexandra will be lucky to hold herself together for the required few minutes to sing her songs. Does that girl do anything other than cry? She's not even that bloody good! Geez, JLS did a better Rihanna than she did on Saturday!

She'll probably win it though. And then cry about it.

I thought Diana is quite fit, but I didn't like the way she sang Dido. I did, however, like the way she did the Avril song. I don't like JLS, Eoghan or Alexandra so I won't be watching any more.

I like Diana I think she has a fabulous voice and is something different which is much more interesting than bloody diva Alexandra!

JLS have to win now! Aston - the main singer is from Peterborough so the whole city has gone JLS crazy, they were driving around town today in their JLS stretch limo thing and were on the radio with my mate Kev who says they're genuinely nice guys. They sang a bit this morning as well and they sounded MUCH better than they do on the show - I swear to god the sound set up for the TV is rubbish, I'm sure it sounds great in the studio but is awful to listen to.

Yup, the sound for the show is dreadful. The number of times I've watched this year, thought the singer was almost drowned out by the backing track, then listened to the judges tell us how great they were is gettting kinda sad. I almost hope for one of those songs where it's just them and a piano or something like that, just so I can hear the singer properly.

Diana's singing technique is terrible with very little adaptability, it's always the bloody same. As for that awful tic at the end of every phrase, it just sounds like a poor mans Alanis Morissette. I want JCB/MFI/DFS or whatever they're called to win, the lead singer has a good voice.

"Tic" is a very good word for it. In reality its a vocal trick which becomes a habit - people get into the habit to disguise the fact that they can't hit a note with any degree of certainty at the end of a phrase.
