and frankly it is a stupid song, set to the tune of a german drinking song. not as majestic as "god save the queen," now is it? i will go on a killing rampage with fireworks if it is ever changed to "god bless america" because i think we don't need that exceptionalist rhetoric any more than we already have it. that's all the world needs- a more dellusional american public that thinks they are god's chosen few...
