I'm sure that those of the team who have freelance contracts with the BBC are either being paid or not as per the constraints of that contract. I believe that Dave and Chris are only paid for the weeks they actually work - although there has been at least one week this year when they weren't doing the show but Chris was actually working for the BBC, so he at least might appear to have been off more than usual this year.

As for the ones who are BBC employees, just because they are not working on the CM show doesn't mean they aren't working at all - I imagine they will either be taking annual leave out of their allocation, or continuing to work as producers, assistants or journalists respectively.

Another question in the wrong section as this is for questions about the site rather than the show, hence the name "Site Questions".

The issue of how the BBC pays Chris and the team is of no concern to anyone. There are departments that worry about that sort of thing.

See, most people try to shrink their Christmas jumper in the wash - I'm not sure what programme you washed your dog on though, its definitely shrunk and has gone really wrinkly. Oooer missus.

Dom was on today doing a few news slots, incl the 12.45 - 1pm slot, Aled was in on sunday doing the Surgery, i dare say Carrie is doing sport stuff for other BBC stations, like she does anyway. Dave will be on this weekend no doubt with Chappers, but he and Chris are freelance, so they dont get paid for holidays, or any time that they have off.

I thought the pocket was an Iron, and mine too is small and fluffy.

my reindeer sweater has gone fluffy too. It moulted all over the black shorts I was wearing with it yesterday. it isn't small, tho - longer than I realised, in fact.
