I'm a big fan. The Office is one of my favourite TV series. And I'm pleasantly surprised that I like the American version too.

The Office is funny, I don't dispute that. But he is playing himself. He can't do anything other than that.

His stand up, while funny, is heavily scripted by others. That's not what stand up is all about. What he did was a one man act, not stand up comedy.

I seem to be. Talking in very. Short sentences.

Gervais has just been on the One Show and in my opinion was very amusing. He's better in a laid back, natural and unscripted environment.
