This is true, this is what annoys me about the Podcast. For example,the Folk Face highlights from last year was possibly the funniest thing i have heard on the show, yet when they edited it and put it on the podcast, a large slice of the entire link had been edited out, and it lost a lot of what made the whole thing funny.

There's loads of clips of the team swearing in the sound vault, so no doubt this will end up there at some point, and while i agree with Yudster that Dave saying 'shit' isn't actually funny, the whole link together was actually very amusing.

It was simply how it came out, for a split second I couldn't work out if Chris had hit 'play' on the recording or if Dave had said it live!

I'll try and listen later but just a technical question, when they edit it out, how is it done? Do they simply edit out the word, bleep it, or the whole section. They made another reference to it later on when the played Dave's singing again and just wondered if they edit all the references

The Iplayers edited the swearing clip out and i'd imagine its the same on the realplayer links so I dont think we'll be able to get it again.

I can't understand why it's still not available on the normal iPlayer. Does the fact that one word has to be edited out really mean a delay of so long? Or is it not a delay - will they simply not post the normal version?

Same as when Bono swore on-air. It took about 3 days for them to remove the swearword.

Ah, but you got photos of yourself with the team. We (well Cat) did ask Asa (I'm taking your word on that spelling Andy B) if they'd be willing to pose for photos for chrismoyles.net and he went to ask them, but they had to get back and edit the footage (not very well as it turned out!) apparently, which is fair enough really - I know the main members of the team wouldn't have been doing the editing, but they probably were all in one vehicle to leave.
