Where has my little dog avatar thing gone? I refuse to have the lampshade one because its demeaning.

There not all that big! Most of them seem fine, gives a bit more freedom than before. But when they are huge Avatar it starts to be a problem.

Also I can never tell when there is new posts in the board as it never goes that Brown colour like it says it's spose to.

another annoying thing is the tick on the "Notify me when a reply is posted". by the time ive realised its ticked its been submitted ad i get 11 messages clogging my email

Does the 'Show me the new posts' (or something similar) link not work for you?

The posts will be marked as read if you disconnect then reconnect to the site regardless of if you read them - it's showing new posts since your last visit, not unread posts.

Oh that's good then! Never tell what are the new posts now. Means have to read everything.
