Radio 1 DJ Chris Miyles has ruled himself out of appearing on "Celebrity Big Brother 2".

"I can't," he told this week's Heat magazine. "I'm too busy. I'd have liked to see what people thought of me, and what my reactions would be with new people. I'm quite shy with new people unless I bond with them straight away."

Apart from his daily Radio 1 show, Moyles will also be presenting a new show for Channel 5, "Live with Chris Moyles," airing weeknights at 7pm from September 23.
