This is normal for Aled, I believe. He won't appear in a while then he'll do a brief stint answering many of the questions that have been posted since his last visit. Don't lose faith!

Also, the questions aren't easy ones to answer!

I may as well ask again.

Aled are you interested in any sound clips of the team from years ago at all, the one I have is of Dominic talking about his new girlfriend Nicola & also about his band he was in before Folkface, where he promises to buy everyone a pint who comes to the gig and says they heard him on Chris' show.

If not then no bother :)

That clip that Johnny mentioned about Dom talking about his new girlfriend is great, I think Chris and Dave even have a bet that "it wouldn't last". Would be a good clip to play on the air to them, pretty sure it was a 1999 show as well which means it's their 10th anniversary soon.... :D

Nice on Jamie, when I attempted to edit it it was so funny to hear a rather posh Dom.

The clip I've sent Aled is from Monday 29th November 1999, nearly 10 years old. I mentioned to Aled that Chris, Dave & Rhys owe Dom £10 each :)

Also, if they do play it on air, it'll be interesting to hear if Dom mentions what happened to Gutterstar (his band before Folk Face) :)

There's a sound clip of Dom auditioning to be part of Chris' boy band. He sings along to Robbie Williams - Love Supreme.

Ah so he did audition for Ghettolife, I did wonder if he did. Ghettolife seemed to fall apart when Melinda left, Rhys either left the band but didn't effect it, or wasn't part of it so didn't effect it either. I know Jon Culshaw was also going to audition for it at one stage but never did.

However I don't know of any refrences, after Melinda left, about Ghettolife on the show (apart from the one off airing of the song) so I imagine it was his departure that prompted them to give up on Ghettolife.

Aled will read all this & probably won't have a clue as to what it's all about :lol:

I have a Question-Is it true the currenct contract runs out on july 31 and has not been renewed yet because Im startingm to get a bit worried!aLso if Chris for whateevr reason d ecided to leave radio one,would you just produce someone elses show?

Aled, I have some early promo pics of Pete Tong & Westwood from their Capital FM days, are you interested in these at all so that you can use them to mock said DJ's or are you not? If so I'll send them on to you :)

Hey bradcali

I couldn't possibly answer on Chris' behalf in regards to his contract. It's absolutely none of my business.

I don't have plans at the moment to do anything if something happened to the show. That happens when you've got the job you love doing: Moyles Mon - Fri, Surgery on Sunday. If and when it happens I could only make my decision based on what options are open to me. That depends on Chris and Radio 1's decisions. Only when I know them could I make my own choices.

Radio 1 and the BBC employ me. I love working for Radio 1 - I've always wanted to, and hope I will for a long time yet.

Aled, Have they not thought to put the live streaming footage onto Iplayer?

The viewing figures are so low at the moment because people have to go to work and haven't time.

I'd personally watch again in the evening as I often listen back to catch the last 1hr 1/2 and anything I missed earlier in the morning (due to my snoozing)

I LOVE my dog blanket calendar. Its easily the best and most used present I got last Christmas. Use it every day! Will there be something similar for next year Al, and can I have one please, I'd be lost without it!
