I take it that you weren't a fan of Producer Rhys or Producer Will, both were heard on air quite often in the afternoons, especially Will who had two features named after him: Fire At Will & Bang Will's Head Against The Studio WIndow.

The whole make-up of the show has always been that it's a team effort and that some of the members of the team have an input on air - this has always included the producer. If they have an input on air, of course they are going to share whatever news and views they wish to or deem appropriate. Getting married is big news, why wouldn't Rachel want to share it with the show's fanbase? If you don't like that, go and listen to something else and stop being a narcissistic little scumbag.
