I'm bored and I'm just wondering what the Cc and Bcc mean when you send e-mails cos I never use them.

Bcc = Blind Carbon Copy

Carbon copy means a copy of the Email gets sent to anyone you list in that box

Blind Carbon Copy means the same thing except the person who gets the copy doesn't see who else got it, and people in the To and CC list don't know the person in the Bcc list got it

ohhhhh, thankyou Ad and Morals, you cleared that little mystery up for me. Heres another two then

1) when you send private messages, does it count towards your post total?

2) Is there any FREE way of recording the radio off the net (though this doesn't matter too much anymore now Ana's left LBC )?

1 - No

2 - Technically the answer should be no, but I remember seeing an article somewhere where the staff at a magazine worked out that if you connected the output from your soundcard to the input of your soundcard and used a certain peice of software (buggered if I can remember which one) you could record streaming audio. Musicmatch jukebox would probably work. Certainly it sounds feasible but I can't say I've ever tried to do it.

What you'd do is set up music match (or whatever) to record from the line in as opposed to from CD or whatever, then play the audiostream through RealPlayer - the output would then (at least in theory anyway) go out through the speaker cable and back in to the line in socket where it would be recorded by musicmatch.

There are hundreds of reasons why I couldn't do that (tiny tiny brain being the main one) and also, you forget I accidently-on-purpose uninstalled realplayer.

open windows recording mixer and change record source to wave then ur music recording software will record the output

BCC is a good way of stopping someone denying you sent an email cos you can send it to someone else at the same time without their knowledge.....
