Two problems:

1) not everyone has a microphone on their comp (not that you'd wanna here my 'delightful' voice anyway).

2) I don't think its fair to ask Aled to help on this one, it kinda seems like taking advantage, especially if he doesn't want Chris to know he posts on here. I surpose its up to him but I can't see him wanting to take part.

Apart from that though, sounds like a good plan, i'll help in anyway possible. What song were you thinking of doing Loz?

why dont we just make an updated better quality version of last years one removing references to stevo so there is more chance of it getting played. But keep stevos rapping (or wrapping to make it more christmasy)

it doesnt even have to be a xmas song specifically, you can get an instant xmas song by adding bells in it. the song could be anything, just as long you get something xmassy in the lyrics.

I reckon if someone wants to write the words to a tune, you could do something similar to what Dan did last year, put up a low quality mp3 of the song for people to get the tune from, and everyone who wants to to send in their version of them singing it, then you just cut & paste the lines into a whole song from everyone's best bits.

The downfall last year I think was leaving it a bit late probably.

Listening to last years, I also think we'll have a better chance if its better sound quality. Moylesaid is quite fuzzy and you can here the original in the background. I'm assuming we have lots of clever people to sort that though . As magenta said, last year we had five days or someat stupid like that, this year we should have plenty of time to produce something of comic genuis.

the reason you can hear the original in the background was becasue there wasnt a band aid instrumental to be found anywhere.
