Two things making me smile - first the headline on the Sky News website which, thanks to its lack of punctuation could mean one of two things: "PM's Pledge to Flood Devastated Cumbria". As long as he give someone instructions on how to build the Ark first all should be well I guess......

Also, I have ordered my Christmas meat from the farm, always a good moment. The estimated cost isn't making me smile quite so much - £100 for a turkey, a ham, some sausagemeat, sausages and bacon is a lot - but its all good stuff, local and I know the farm so I know the animals are properly reared. I actually chose my ham while it was running around in a field. They've written my name on it in permanent marker.
