SunnySoCal may be able to answer this since I believe she is the only other American on the board, but how does one send a text to 81199 from the US? I've tried tried 011-44-81199 to no avail and the Google searches that I have done haven't told me too much. Any one else had any luck?

81199 is a short code for the actual number, which the Radio 1 FAQ suggests is +44 (0)7786 201111.
