radio 1 receive the chart very early on Sunday morning and they pre-record some links. bits like - 40-31 recap and so on... well they did in Mark Goodiers days

Loads of it are prerecorded. When Mark Goodier did the last chart a couple of weeks ago it was broardcast live over the internet, and for most of the links he wasn't even sitting at the microphone.
