Now that Play UK has gone, does anyone know if there are any plans to make anymore Rock Profile programs? It used to be absolutely hilarious, and it was about the only time that I found Jamie Theakstone funny.

Have you seen the Matt Lucas and David Walliams TV Licence ad on BBC 1? Well it was basically them doing their spoof rock star impressions and Jamie Theakstone interviewing them. It was very funny.

I used to like playuk, but now they have launched a few new music channels...
Anyone seen "the hits", and "p-rock", and then theres the chart channel too. Im sticking with mtv and mtv 2, lol.

used to love rock profile. my favourites had the be the first take that one where gary barlow wouldnt let jason orange out of the house and made him sleep in a cupboard. or the steps one interviewing the 2 guys when they showed jamie their home made merchandise and spelt steps "stesp" on the rulers.

In my mind Play UK was the best channel on SKY as they would show good music along with comedies such as I'm Alan Partirdge and The Leauge Of Gentlemen aswell as classics such as old episodes of Shooting Stars.

WHY did they get rid of it?

I do like VH1 - they play a lot of good old songs.

I like MTV 2, cant stand Karrang unless they are playing Feeder.

does anyone remember a show on channel 4 (i think it was called manhunt) where contestants had to go on the run around the country all week with people trying to find them and then on the show they had to be in a phone box. if you knew what phone box they were in you could ring up an win money but they had to try to stay not caught to carry on next week. it was a great show probably ran out of phone boxes nowadays though.....
