What has being the newbie got to do with it? I cant speak for yudster, but I don't like Matt(on air, not personally) because he adds nothing to the show and is quite dull. The show is being diluted enough as it is with too much structure since Aled became producer, the last thing we need is a non-entity (again, only on air) like Matt clogging things up even more.

Picking on someone because they are new would be bullying wouldn't it? Pick on the newbie just because they are new? Never have. Yes, I have a go at the odd newbie, but the reason is NEVER their newbie-ness.

I dislike Matt for a set of reasons - Tina seems pretty inoffensive to me, why would I say bad things about her? Matt on the other hand is pushy and comes across on air (when talking) as incredibly arrogant, and spent a period of time contriving to get on air at any and every opportunity, and being very poor when he managed it. This thankfully seems to have been stamped on by people on the show who know what's good for it.

Two things - I assume (previous high-profile * notwithstanding) that he is now good enough at his job to be able to not worry about keeping it, and also when he is used as the in-house musician he makes excellent radio.

What a vindictive and nasty person you are Yudster. I've watched for months at the snide unpleasant & rude posts you've made about Matt Fincham and feel it's about time someone spoke up.

As far as I'm concerned whenever matt's on air he seems in awe of the situation he's in. He only ever volunteers information when Chris asks him, unlike the other team members who pipe up with they're comments throughout the show. He seems to be a genuine fan of the show and what the team all do and i think his geekiness is quite endearing.
I for one find him quite likeable and far from arrogant - he is self deprecating in his sense of humour and lets the team rib him in a light spirited way. Theyre obviously quite fond of him
Do you think if Chris and co disliked him that much (as you're keen to make out, even though you don't know any of the team personally, yet seem to think youre an authority on them) he'd be on the show? Surely he must be one of the most able and dedicated Radio 1 assistent producers to be put on the station's breakfast show for so long?

I'm just getting bored now of your Matt baiting everytime you post Yudster. Change the record - you're becoming really tiresome.
