Just in case your interested, this is what Sara said about Moyles in Heat;

So, you and Chris Moyles. Do you hate him now?

[chuckles] No, I've never hated Chris. Everything he says on the air and in interviews is to get a rise out of people. Off air, he is really lovely and sweet. And he was f***ing terrified afterwards. When he says something in the press he sh-its himself because he knows how I'm going to react.

How did you react?

When I read it in heat I was really pis-sed off with him. Not because I felt threatened but because he was a mate and he hadn't been supportive.

Did he apologise?

Yeah. We did One live in Nottingham not long afterwards and all the radio one lot went back to the hotel for a few drinks. And Moylesy was being all sheepish and standing in the corner looking at his toes. So we sat there drinking and I made him sweating for a bit. Then he said sorry and that he didn't want to upset me.

So theres no bad feelings now?

No. There wasn't really anyway. We've had some good nights out, me and Moylesy. He came round to mine in the summer for some drunken barbecues.

We thought maybe it was a case of sour grapes because he wanted your show...

Yeah, the answer to Moylesy going on about wanting the breakfast slot is that he'd been at radio one miles before me. So the only thing I can presume is that if Moylesy had been right for the job, they would have given it to him and not me.

shes a moron anyway i cant think of any reason ever why i would listen to her radio show. she used to be fit so you could at least watch her on telly but shes scary looking now...

She's never really bothered me either way. If I tune in by chance I'll listen but I'd never go out of my way to like I do with Moyles. However if I listen in the car I get yelled at cos my mum hates her.

Is it me or was Moyles offered the job of Breakfast at the time and turned it down? I'm sure I've got an interview somewhere from The Mirror (Matthew Wright and a pre-3AM girls Polly no less) where he says he can't be arsed with it. There were definatly rumors about it.

I don't think he was offered it, but I think he said he didn't want it and if he had been offered it he would have turned it down.

I think afetr just getting used to waking at 11am, from his 2 am early breakfast starts. i don't htink he would. Natural sucessor to cox is mills now.....

I know everyone says it, but I honestly can not work out half of what she's muttering about. Not a good choice for national radio breakfast show presenters.

I had to retune to Radio 2 on my alarm clock as I would over-sleep, when I was woken by R1 I would just turn it off and fall asleep again.

She should do radio for the hard of hearing.

i'd much prefer coxy then moyles on the breakfast show, imagine waking up to moyles whinging about his toe nails or talking about how much he hates baked beans or whatever. Looks like Sara has won the battle of the tv shows as well, born sloppy is soo much better than that shite show where the audience laughs when chris says hello
