How long is Chris off for this holiday? I heard the handover link with Fearne and she said they won’t see each other for 5 weeks (at least no more MORRRRRRRNING!!), and they said Sara’s in for her. Is it the normal 2 weeks, meaning there back on 16th August?

Chris has said on more than one occaison that he has 2 things in his contract he won't go without:

1: Bank holidays off.

2: Scott Mills covers holidays.

Vernon Kay does the show if it's only Chris off (a la Kilimanjaro).

Chris is off for 2 weeks, Ferne is off for the following 2 weeks for "work" then she has a week holiday. Totalling 5 weeks without "WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRNNNNNNNIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGGGG" Thank Godd!!!!

Would love to know how many weeks she has been off from the radio show this year already and now she will be off for more to do as someone perfectly put it, "work!" Don't listen to her anyway and pretty much everyone here switches off once she is done with the handover.

Haven't got up at all early enough this week to listen to the shows but I have them on my mp3 player now so will be listening to them over the week since I am moving and will pass the time like it does when I am in work. Just glad I am only back in work for 1 week of him off and not the two.

I haven't heard of him talking about any vacation plans (to the Caribbean or New York) so I would think it has a higher than 50% chance, especially how well he and Tom Jones got on.

Chris Evans again this morning. He is so good, but I get really irritated when they are having a really entertaining chat but they only talk for a few seconds, then play a bloody record! The talk is what's good, not the damn music, that's just wallpaper.

On the other hand, when forced by circumstances to have to listen to Mills for ten minutes I was pleased that there was so much music because the alternative is listening to his crap. And don't get me started on that awful female sidekick (I don't know her name), she is dreadful, where did the BBC dig her up? She doesn't even try to pretend that the links are spontaneous, she just reads them like a kid forced to read to the class in an English lesson. She even pronounces "ha ha" phonetically when she's supposed to be pretending to laugh.

Dear God Sarah Kennedy was a struggle this morning, really not my cup of tea, she seems to talk about three different things all at once & I'm sure she played Two Ronnies style song at one point.

I dread the day Moyles gives up Breakfast, just hope there are some decent talent DJ's in the wings waiting to come to light in the next few years, otherwise Christ knows what we'll have to listen to at Breakfast.

Scott Mills should stay in his afternoon slot when Moylesey is away, he just isn't very good in the mornings..... The Female sidekick we are referring too is Becky... She sounds hot to be fair!
