I had all my present done and ready last month. :D So I can sit back and relax knowing I'm not stupid enough to leave it till the last minute. Done it before and learnt from it.

Xmas shopping is best done on Xmas eve. The fact that you need to purchase the presents for people that days means you spend less time deciding what to buy people, and hence less time actually buying it. The fact is, no matter how long you spend choosing what to buy people, they will only 'that's nice' and never use it. Why waste time unnecessarily.

Thats not true, it's only if you don't put effort into and buy rubbish for them.

it would be rude to make fun out of this post- but how many people are actually in your family? when your talking celebrations and christmas, and it happens to be in the same sentence- its highly unlikely that you will get a small box. so are you talking box / or tin of celebrations. if you gonna get a tin then there's alot left over...

Well, ok I'll dish them all out evenly. I only buy presents for my brother, sister, mum, dad, and my 2 grandparents, so they'll get about 3-4 each I guess.

Doing shopping on Chrismas Eve is a bad idea because all the store are packed full to the brim. I always end up doing it though because I'm disorganised.

Amazingly, I've got half of my pressies and I'm going to go and get the rest friday. I think this is the first year I've actually been organised. The only thing I'm struggling with is my mum, it was her birthday last Sat and I got her what she wanted then, so I dunno what to do now. Has Donny Osmond got a CD out or someat as he's been on the telly alot. She adores him. Bob?

I am giving some of my friends a present (the three I am giving presents to all happen to be female :P) but its an utter class present. They gave me a list of songs they wanted, I put them on CD for them. A lot of work goes into it - so it has a lot of meaning :) and best of all, Its very Cheap!

I've had a great idea to save time and money on Xmas shopping. Simply break into the people's houses, find the tat you bought them last year, wrap it up and hey-presto, a new present for this Xmas. Trust me they can't remember what rubbish you gave them a year ago! Everyone's a winner!
