I agree, but I'm personally very shy and it loosens me up a bit.

Ok, fair point. I'm not that shy though, especially not in front of the people I go to the pub with and drinking water is very cheap...IT'S FREE!!!!!! I've gone through whole weeks before and having eaten all my meals at home or taken sandwiches to work I've spent absolutely no money at all...now that's good if you can do that. (When I say having spent no money at all, its under the proviso I don't need to fill my car up etc).

'Tis expensive, I'll give you that... But as well as making me into a much more confident person, I prefer most alcohol to sh*te like water, Coke and Lemonade.

I also like bud... I've drunk a Woo Woo in Lloyds, if you're referring to the c*cktail, it was a bit fruity, but not bad actually.

You can hardly say water is Sh*te when it is a neccessity for life. I admit it is boring though, but like I said, very cheap!

No, going to the pub is about drinking. Unless you're driving of course. Has anyone read Frank Skinner's auto bio? He gives his opinion on those of us who chooce to go to the public house & drink blackcurrants!

(Ohno! Chris added my clever variation of sh*te where I replaced the i with an ! to the swear filter. Spoilsport.)

If water is sh*te, then you're 90% full of it. - jc

Anyway enough of this debating alcohol, and tea totallers, and what not, lets get back to the origin of this thread.Earlier on I got into a slagging match with Bob23,I think we both had a point we were trying to make, but wires were crossed and perhaps I went too far.Afterall there is nothing more important than the well being of a fellow poster,so Bob I have this to say to you from the bottom of my heart 'yada yada yada' and I mean that sincierly.Oh and don't forget to tape 'Celebrity Wheelchair Challenge' tommorrow night it looks to be a hoot.

Red Stripe is very good as is Carling but Carlsberg isn't just probably the best drink in the world it definately is. The danes hate to see it leave, no they don't they make it in Northamton i have f***ing drive past it about 10 times. I always go to pubs which have a jukebox and waste my money playing records like The Jam-Going Underground and Bill Withers-lovely day. Even when i'm driving i always have one pint, like Topher say it loosens you up a bit.

Topher what pub do you go to?
