Yeah I agree with that. But there were a couple of good songs after that period. For example, The Importance of being Idle is fairly good, as is Lyla.

Be Here Now should have been a great album, it was just massively over-produced. Don't Believe The Truth was a good album.

Seeing as we're recommending music here, what is The XX's new album like, as you can see from my list on the first page I like a lot of indie/alternative/electronic, would I like this album? Also what are Adele's albums like, I personally would believe a persons opinion on here more than some of those music mags, some, like Q seem to give 4-5/5 for bloody everything.

Download Spotify and give it a go. Personally though I quite like the XX and their album is decent. Delphic are a good alternative/electronic band also.

The XX (in my opinion) are the best band to win the Mercury Music Prize in a while.I think they're an acquired taste, but if you like them you love them.

Adele's albums are very good. I didn't expect them to be and thought they would be boring but now i highly recommend them, particularly 21

Yeah I have spotify but never use it I have got a Delphic track somewhere on iTunes, not a bad track either, hmm, I'll give these & Adele a listen on spotify then before I purchase them then
