Ha! Probably. I love retro and vintage stuff and I collect vintage accessories. Just putting an outfit together would be fun enough on its own for me.

Nope, I like a royal wedding, but only to criticise the dresses and hats, no parties for me. Loving the extra day off though.

I'm working, through choice. Since my own wedding is pending and my missus just happens to have a dress fitting tomorrow afternoon, it makes sense for me to make myself scarce whilst gaining an extra day in lieu by working a public holiday.

That and I couldn't give less of a * about them if I tried.

Will not be watching it for 2 main reasons:

1. Will be working into Friday morning and therefore won't be staying up to watch it, as it is my birthday. Besides, it will be shown to death on news programmes, news papers and online so it won't be much of a burden if I missed it.
2. Couldn't care less thus cancelling out the first reason really!

That said, I wish them the best of luck and maybe it would be a marriage that lasts because we all know how well other royal marriages have ended up.

There's a street party happening in my village the day after, which I just find pretty weird since the whole hoopla about it would have died down a bit by then. Also, whenever I see something about street parties I always think of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole Aged 13 3/4 when the residents of his area had a street party to celebrate Charles and Diana'a wedding. It is fictional I know but man I love the Adrian Mole series.

I managed to see 10mins of the ceremony on the tv in the works canteen and followed the rest of the proceedings on twitter. I was surprised by how interested I found myself, really. But I am really interested in the tradition and history of these big events, they're very retro in style and I love that. I think it's a sign I'm getting old

I thought ITV had the best coverage. The BBC have really declined in my opinion since the mid 00s.

I watched the BBC coverage and thought Huw Edwards was excellent, but the reporters were awful. Chris Hollins was truly diabolical, and the others were just lightweight. Edith, of course, thought everything was "absoloutly amazing".

After the main stuff was over I had a watch of ITV and Phillip Schofield was quite amusing for the few minutes I saw him and then I watched Sky News coverage and Eamon Holmes was superb for the hour or so I watched. I dont usually like him but he combined serious with light hearted perfectly when I saw him.

It didnt even occur to me to watch anything other than the beeb initially though. Its almost a default setting on these occasions.

I watched it all and surprisingly liked it, sadly the anti-royalist on Twitter wouldn't stop moaning about it, I didn't really see their gripe, how often does something like this happen over here? And who gives a flying * if no other nation does anything as grand & "pompus" as that? I like the uniqueness of the ceremonies over here, in fact I hate how American we have become over here with certain things, it's nice to keep some of the old traditional things such as the Royal Family.

I love all that pageantry shizzle. Its a nod to the history of this country which is what makes us, for better or worse, different from any other nation in the world. There isn't anywhere else in the world with the kind of historical and (dare I use the "c" word? I think I will - ) cultural heritage which could have spawned the spectacle we saw today, and whether your response to that is positive or negative, its surely significant.

I watched the BBC coverage but I have to say Cotton and Hollins came close to ruining it for me with their constant references to "The Balcony Scene" - you mean the balcony appearance you morons, its not a production of Romeo and * Juliet - and "the kiss" - oh for * SAKE! You'll be wanting to put cameras in the bedroom to record their first married * next! Absolutely sickening they were, both of them. I wish with hindsight I had gone with ITV or Sky.

I thought Kate's dress was lovely but understated - however the maid of honour's dress, WOW! I absolutely loved what Sarah Cameron wore and she has a truly amazing figure, but it was absolutely wrong that the wife of the Prime Minister should be one of the very few guests who ignored the dress instructions which included hats for women. Really bad manners. Off with her head. Princess Beatrice appeared to have on her head a sculpture made from an obscure musical instrument melded with a dead cat - that was hilarious. She looked absolutely awful all round, her dress, or suit, or whatever it was, couldn't have been more frumpy if she had it designed and made by Frumpy Frumperson's Frumpy Sack Designers of Frumpington. Her sister Beatrice looked like she was wearing an eighteenth century corset in order to cram herself into the strange blue creation she was wearing too - those two girls need help.

Anyway, I enjoyed it, in spite of Cotton and Hollin's best efforts to ruin it.
