So last nite I was transcribing a Tedious from October 2003 for the archive, and it was maybe two links from the end when the file skipped. I rewound in case I had touched something accidentally but no, there's a gap in the file. So this is how it went:

"Reading is twinned with Dusseldorf in Germany..." *gap* and the track was Snap - The Power.

So how might Dave have got from Germany to the track? Any suggestions?

Germany is the home of electronic music band Snap, and that links us to Snap and I've got the power.

I'm guessing it might well be that simple

Or, Dusseldorf is in Germany, and in that respect has something in common with Frankfurt. Frankfurt is where Snap are from, and that links us to Snap! and I've got the power. Thank you.

Ah yes those files were by someone else who sadly hasn't posted since (he apparently all the shows from 2004) the editing was rather good except for in a few place where they were a bit odd, like you mentioned above.

Ha, I didn't realise Snap were from Germany, that's probably all it is! It was most frustrating when the file blipped
