Right, normally I can fix problems with my PC but this one is weird - I have no CD audio either in Windows or in games. I've tried a different CD drive, changed the CD audio cable in case that was buggered and nothing is happening. The sound card is still playing digital audio though. The only thing I can think of is that something went hideously wrong when I installed RealOne (I've removed that but that hasn't helped either). Any one got any ideas or had a similar problem?

All sorted - it was a driver problem by the looks of things. Removing my SB Live! from device manager and re-installing the drivers has solved it.

I've not got an internal cable to connect my CD drive to my sound card, so I have to surfice with a 2-way jack lead connected from the CD drive to the Line-in port.

Not really relavent and probably nobody cares, but there ya go....
