you know its hard to believe but some people once said to me people from newcastle are thick.

Right, here goes (I knew this would come up!) It's not a family thing, mum's QPR, brother's Luton, sister's Liverpool, Dad's a cycling fan

Actually, we don't have a team in MK (well we will soon, but when I first liked football we didn't) - and all my mates supported London teams, as I was a late starter with footy, so I really just wanted to be different. I dare say it would have been different if we did have a team here, but I think Wimbledon (or MK Dons) will be my second team.

NO! Dont support Wimbledons move EVER. If football clubs start turning into franchises the whole thing will become more an more american an destroy our game...

Yes, I know, but it would be good for MK.

Personally I'm of the strong opinion that our council should have been putting money into getting a pro footy team years ago - when MK was first built even - and better late than never, why not start now?

But it ain't gonna happen, so the fact is that Wimbledon will come here and it will be an easy team for me to get to see.

Not really "sod the rest of football" though. Of course Wimbledon should have considered an option nearer SW, but who am I to try and stop it? Sorry, but the whole wimbledon fan-base tried, I haven't got much chance. Maybe I will support a Sunday league team before them, but personally I think we deserve more international sport here than hockey. If I was head of the council I would be ploughing money into our own football team, but that won't happen, as I am certainly not political (hence why I am puttin crap arguments forward here, and don't argue very often on here.)

Before anything, I am Milton Keynes, I want it to do well and be on the map, I have lived here all my life, its not all concrete cows and roundabouts you know.
