Hi i am having probems with the soundpac i have gone by the instructions on how to make your own soundpacs but cant do it.....

i get 11 mp3's .....thats fine
i rename them...thats fine
i open win zip open a new file ...thats fine
then when they are all zipped up i get the win zip symbol come up with all the mp3's in them.

HOW DO I GET THE SOUND PAC FILE TO CHANGE INTO THE ONES LIKE IN THE SOUNDPAC FILE FOLDER??

i know it sounds complicated but its really annoying me please help!!

i think then you have to rename the .zip file to .pac or something

I used to be able to do them but I can't anymore for some reason. Don't really use the sound machine much anyway so it don't matter!

ive renamed the file to SoundPak?.pak then zip it up but it dosne tchange into the pak file like what you put in the soundpac folder...........if that makes any sense!!

basiclly i can only zip them up to a normal file folder but for some reason not a pak folder

Send me your file. I will tell you what you are doing wrong.

More than likely you are not renaming the file as you have kiddie-mode turned on. Windows is hiding the real file extension to stop you messing with it. It's in Tools -> Folder Options -> View -> Hide extestions for known file types (on XP at least).

Sometimes when you save (and I think rename as well) a file to a certain file type e.g. "moyles.pak", you have to surround the file name in "quotes", otherwise it will rename it moyles.pak.zip and it will still be a zip file. Not sure if this helps.

I know, 'cos I forget a lot of the time and my files are made in text files.

no still not workingi havew loads of stuff that i want to make my own sound pacs with not moyles e.g peter kay quotes, mark and lard quotes, tec
can i send te mp3's to someone who can do it then send the pac file back to me please??
