It's too early for Christmas. Too early. I seem to be the only one that thinks this, but I'm far too much of a grump to get excited about it three weeks in advance. On the 20th or 21st, maybe. (I did still enjoy hearing Dominick the Donkey, though.)

You're far from the only person.

Christmas starts on Christmas Eve, that's when decorations go up. The 'festival' starts on the 26th and it continues to the 5th of January. Decorations then come down.

Those are the 12 days of Christmas.

It's really very simple.
