The trickiest thing with starting a blog/fanpage/novelty site is content. You need a large bank of content before you can go live, otherwise people will be put off by the lack of engaging stuff . Maybe get 40-50 or so entries ready, then put them up and start promoting it?

Unfortunately I've seen all these and have read the 7 contributions that you have. Probably won't be heading back.

It's a good idea. Link it to a Twitter hashtag (#notstupidbut), put in a live feed of all tweets with that hashtag and frontpage the best. The hardest bit would be to get it known. It could also do with a lick of paint...

I'm not stupid but when I was younger I would pronounce souvenir as silverneer. When I saw the spelling of the word silverneer would change to silveneer. This continued for years. I now pronounce the word as souvenir

I could have messed that up and called it mammento which would be worse than a silverneer
