do you really want another team to come in though. I have no problem with Milton Keynes having a club and also recognise clubs need to modernise. What i dont and will never understand is how you can move a football club to another place and it be allowed to stay in the league.

But where do you stop that? All clubs move grounds in some way or another, it's just that this is a bit further away. It's not that far anyway, Milton Keynes to London can be done in under an hour, even on the trains (I've done it.)

you are missing the point - scottish football is irrelevant full stop. changing the name doesnt work either its still the same club. if milton keynes want a club start one now in a lower division. now which team came through all the lower divisions to reach the pinnacle (well beat liverpool in the cup final will the mighty beasent in goal anyway)......

They treat football like a business, & the fans like customers, & I don't think it's something you can treat like that - because if you really support a club then you'll know all the emotions that are involved & so on, & it's just sh*tting on the fans that have been with you all through the years really. But what are the other options for Wimbledon?

I see what you're saying, but football is wether you like it or not a way for big businesses to make money. Look at all the money that goes into sponsorship etc.

What would make football better is if premiership clubs didn't poach the promising youth players of of lower division sides. It would be much better if you had to be raised locally to play for your local or county team. Obviously this is totally unworkable, but it goes to show that location is not an important factor when it comes to the big business of commercial football clubs.

I'm surprised crcicket hasn't really. With the one day game becoming more prelavent, you could have a premiership of town stadia- fill it up with slog fans. look at the mcg in australia 70000- it's riducolous

and look at the beautiful indoor stadia they built only used once a year.
