I'll be honest and say that I find the idea of gathering outside R1 and hanging around a bit embarrassing. After meeting Dave, I concluded that I'm a bit uncomfortable with the whole 'fan' experience and wouldn't really enjoy that. If other people want to then I'd wish them the best of luck in seeing/speaking to the team, though.

I have to agree, I am utterly interesting. I don't live in the middle of Swansea or even in the same county. I'm more Neath if anything. That probably explains it. So yes, London seems like a good halfway point to meet.

I wouldn't want to necessarily sit outside the studios for the last show but I would be open to the idea of listening to it somewhere with other forum members maybe somewhere near to the studios. I have a feeling the last show will be a big outside event somewhere anyhow and hopefully some of the more prominent members here (and me) will get to go to that. The show doesn't owe us anything but we are it's biggest fans so fingers crossed we'd get to go to something like that if it happens.

I hope they do the final show in the studio at radio 1. I would be very disappointed if they did anything like the last birthday show. Do it where they have always done it and make it a good one.

I think this thread may need to take on some structure. How about if everyone interested wrote a bit about what the show means to them and posted it to me and I'll make a collage/scrapbook of some sort to send to the team? My mum makes cards and albums etc as a side-business so I'm sure she would help me put something good together. Please post if you like this idea and I'll start working on the details.
