just looking at this poll everyone said maybe corwall, maybe london but the mighty gun capital of britain is leading offering squalor, rain, drugs, thousands of students. on the plus side its unlikely you would meet any manyoo fans and you can still buy a pint for £2.

that figure is kind of mythical i think nottingham just has good spin doctors.... Its like that Psychology paper where it asked for a definition of Bravery (or similar) an someone just wrote "this".

the male/female rumour about the Uni is a bit misleading to say the least. It is true that until recently Nottingham (the City) has had a 4(ish) to 1 female/male ratio but the story behind this is much less exciting than it sounds! Basically, Nottingham used to be a big mining and lace City. When the mines closed the men all left (or have since died off) leaving a large cohort of now very old ladies that used to work in the lace industry. This is picked up in the census which is why it seems like there are so many birds.

However, there are TONNES of students in Nottingham so you hot-blooded types should be more than catered for, unless you happen to be partial to the more 'experienced' lady...
